Here at Sterling Graphics, we love to shake hands.
We do it in that old-school, you-have-our-word-on-it kind of way. We shake with Nike. We shake with Whole Foods. We even shake with the de Young Museum, which isn’t as unnerving as you might think given all the priceless artwork hanging about.
We shake a lot because we get a kick out of what we do and it shows.
Our team has been in the business of transforming spaces for companies large and small since 2000. We manage graphic production and finishing for signage and environments through every step of the process, from design to installation. We do our thing for tradeshows, museums, retailers and, lately, events that need creative juice along with coordination know-how.
Our approach is straightforward. We pour our hearts into every project. We deliver on time. We treat people well. We keep our promises. We always try to plus a situation. Basically, we make good stuff happen that wouldn’t ordinarily happen if we weren’t quite as a fanatical as we are.
We’d be happy to tell you more and, if you’re interested, shake hands on it afterwards. (Our dog might join in, too. Hope that’s OK.)
The Sterling Graphics Team
Kitty and Sarah head the Sterling Graphics team out of their office in Potrero Hill in San Francisco, and are supported by a squad of “baller installers” who are the brawn behind the various installation projects in the Bay Area.
Kitty Coutts ✴ Owner//Trencher//Talent Wrangler
Ask any of her fans (aka, clients and colleagues; family and friends, too) and they’ll tell you that Kitty’s a hands-on, creative, passionate, funny, highly-skilled, detailed-oriented, big-picture-thinking, 110% powerhouse who loves pulling together a great team and making things happen. She also has the distinct honor of being the only non-de Young Museum person ever allowed to operate a scissor lift anywhere near its collections. Kitty is a graduate of both the San Francisco Academy of Art and the Never-Rest-Until-It’s-Done-Right School of Business.
Sarah Richen Jordan ✴ Project Manager//Type A+++//E-Mail Speed Racer
Sarah’s personal motto is “get it done” and, boy, does she ever. She’s been the go-to project manager for retail graphics on some of Sterling’s biggest jobs, including the Nike Women’s Marathon, de Young’s Summer of Love, Cal Academy’s SKIN exhibit and more. She responds to emails as quick as her 5K time. When you call, it’s usually Sarah who answers the phone. Often by the second ring. Sometimes even the first.
